The HOBBY Division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, which issues the original plastic model kit series "30 MINUTES MISSIONS" known for its easy assembly and free customization, has announced the latest collaborative product with "Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon", the "ARQUEBUS ADD VE-40A OPEN FAITH", scheduled for release in September 2025.
The story of "Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon" takes place on the remote planet "Rubicon 3", where humanity discovered a mysterious new substance called "Coral". It was initially believed that this substance could become a new energy source and lead to significant technological advancement, but instead, it brought about a catastrophic disaster that engulfed the entire star system. Nearly a century later, the terrifying "Coral" has become the target of extra-planetary corporations and resistance groups, and players will once again assume the role of "Raven", a mercenary piloting a robot, to infiltrate Rubicon and delve deeper into the heart of this storm of conflict.
The AC being commercialized this time, the "ARQUEBUS ADD VE-40A OPEN FAITH", is piloted by V. II Snail, the second squad leader of the "Vesper" squad belonging to the Arquebus Group. Its heavy-duty exterior armor is faithfully reproduced using multi-color molded parts, with abundant details in both the lines on the armor surface and the mechanical structure of its large weapons.
Its armaments include the "VP-66EG Pulse Gun", "VE-67LLA Laser Lance", "VE-60SNA Stun Needle Launcher", "Vvc-70VPM Plasma Missile", and dynamic effect parts to recreate the powerful Laser Lance. Each part is produced with the series' common structure, allowing for free customization just like in the game's settings.
