In 2022, Bandai Namco launched its "GUNDAM OPEN INNOVATION" project, aiming to realize the vision of a "real-world Universal Century." Now, they're bringing the allure of the Gundam universe to the "2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo," with the 17-meter-tall 'life-sized RX-78F00/E Gundam statue' next to the "GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION" exhibition hall set to become a major pilgrimage site.
Today (Feb 21), officials held the "GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE -FINAL-" opening ceremony, highlighting the unique features of the Expo pavilion. During the event, they officially unveiled detailed information about the brand-new Gundam experience inside the hall: "GUNDAM: Next Universal Century."

"GUNDAM: Next Universal Century" is set to blow minds, utilizing Sony's cutting-edge Haptic Floor technology to deliver a 360-degree immersive viewing experience where audiences don't just watch, but physically feel the vibrations and impacts on screen. The massive projection, approximately 8 meters high and 18 meters deep, is rendered using Unreal Engine 5, promising unprecedented visual spectacle!
This 360° sensory immersion is designed to transport visitors into a "New Universal Century" and a "future where humans and Mobile Suits coexist," enveloping everyone who steps into the pavilion. Get ready for the most realistic Gundam visual experience ever, plunging fans into an uncharted cosmic realm!

The story kicks off in 2150. You, the audience, are invited on a guided tour of the colossal space station "Star Jaburo." Boarding an "orbital elevator" guided by Haro, you'll embark on a journey 36,000 kilometers above Earth into space.
Inside Star Jaburo, various Mobile Suits (MS) are hard at work, pushing the boundaries of deep space exploration. But then, something unexpected happens—a routine space debris cleanup operation goes awry, triggering an unprecedented event!
