Danish LEGO toy company officially announced yesterday (20th) its latest LEGO House exclusive product, item number 40506, the "LEGO Fabuland Tribute" (tentative translation, LEGO Fabuland Tribute)! It is scheduled to be released on March 1, 2025, with a suggested retail price of 649 Danish Krone (DKK).
LEGO Fabuland was a theme series sold by LEGO between 1979 and 1989, featuring over 100 different products. Its biggest characteristic was its cute animal-shaped minifigures! These anthropomorphic animal characters were sized between regular LEGO minifigures and DUPLO figures, and what's more, they even had names! Such as Edward Elephant, Bonnie Bunny, and Max Mouse, among others. LEGO not only created rich stories for the Fabuland theme, but Fabuland was also the first theme series to expand into diverse media such as storybooks and TV series, continuing to deeply captivate many LEGO fans to this day.
This "LEGO Fabuland Tribute," with a total of 1026 pieces, is the sixth exclusive product from LEGO House. It not only uses colorful LEGO bricks to build Edward Elephant, Joe Crow, Dr. Lucy Sheep, and Clive Crocodile, but also features exquisitely brick-built instrument accessories, a display base, and that super classic-looking tree! And the exclusive printed piece in Edward's hand, showing everyone from Fabuland together at LEGO House, is truly adorable! I love it so much.
