The popular action figure series "S.H.Figuarts", released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., has announced its latest product, "Dark Warrior GilArc", from the movie "Ultraman Arc THE MOVIE: Super Dimensional Decisive Battle! Light and Darkness of Arc", scheduled for release in August 2025.
The Dark Warrior "GilArc", who appears in the movie version, possesses an appearance and combat abilities similar to Ultraman Arc. This form is achieved when the evil alien "Rebunian" steals the "Arc Cube" from the protagonist Yuma Hishise, contaminates it into the "GilArc Cube", and then brainwashes Yuma's partner, Shu Ishido, causing him to transform.
"S.H.Figuarts Dark Warrior GilArc" is thoroughly supervised by Tsuburaya Productions' LSS modeling department. Based on Arc's silhouette, it reproduces distinct colors and body patterns, with vivid red eyes and a color timer expressing its dark aura. Thanks to the flexible articulation design throughout the body, collectors can pose it in combat stances that are the inverse of Arc's, or in an evil, leaning-back maniacal laugh.
Accessories include a special effect part for the finisher "GilArc Ultimate Rise" with gradient colors, which can be attached to the left hand to recreate the inverse release pose compared to Arc. Additionally, it comes with a special effect part for the finisher "Arc Ultimate Rise" and beam clash effect parts that can be linked with the separately sold "S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Arc", allowing for the recreation of the impressive close-range beam clash scene from the show!
