GOOD SMILE COMPANY of Japan, known for its popular "Nendoroid" series with over a thousand products, has announced the latest item from the anime "Sword Art Online": "Nendoroid Kirito 2.0". It has a suggested retail price of 7,800 JPY and is scheduled for release in August 2025.
Following various products such as Nendoroid Kirito: Ordinal Scale Ver. and Nendoroid Kirito: Elite Swordsman Ver., and to commemorate the Nendoroid series' 20th anniversary, the immensely popular Kirito makes another appearance as a Nendoroid! "Nendoroid Kirito 2.0" stands approximately 10 cm tall, faithfully recreating the Black Swordsman's signature black coat in a cute, chibi style. Compared to the 2013 version, the metallic details on the outfit feature a more exquisite paint application. It includes three interchangeable face plates: a "confident expression," a powerful "combat expression," and a slightly embarrassed "Oh dear" expression. The black-bladed "Elucidator" and the teal-bladed "Dark Repulser" are meticulously crafted, allowing fans to enjoy dynamic combat poses, from sheathing his swords to recreating the iconic line, "When I draw my second sword, no one leaves alive!"
▼The Good Smile Company Online Store bonus is "Elucidator & Dark Repulser (Clear Parts)"
▼Pair him with the separately sold 'Nendoroid Asuna 2.0' for even more fun!
▼Detailed information on the hand-holding parts is not yet available.
