BANDAI SPIRITS HOBBY Division of Japan has announced new profession products, "Liber Wizard" and "Rozan Wizard," for its original plastic model kit series "30 MINUTES FANTASY," which is themed around a fantasy world. They are scheduled for release in July and September 2025, respectively.
"30 MINUTES FANTASY" is a new series themed around various professions in a fantasy world. Inheriting the "30 MINUTES" series' characteristics of easy assembly, simple structure, and infinite customization, it allows for the creation of highly articulated bodies with human-like flexibility. By utilizing the 3mm expansion ports on various parts of the body, different profession-specific exteriors can be attached. As the product lineup expands, characters can gradually upgrade from beginner to advanced professions, continuously strengthening their roles much like a job change system in an RPG.
The story is set in a world that has lost its civilization. Due to meteor showers impacting Earth, the environment underwent drastic changes, and "Elements," substances harmful to humans, rapidly spread, causing a significant population decline. To overcome this crisis, a group of scientists successfully developed "Element Cores" and mechanical lifeforms called "Maximilian (tentative translation)." Humans utilized their power to regain the ability to survive and established multiple nations, including the "Liber Republic," which chose to coexist with Maximilian, and the "Rozan Empire," which chose to dominate Maximilian.
This time, new "Wizard" professions are being released for both the Liber Republic and Rozan Empire factions. They are built using the slimmer and taller Body Type 3, possessing flexibility and articulation akin to real humans. Thanks to the articulated mechanisms in the limbs, chest, waist, neck, and other areas, natural and cool poses such as running, superhero landings, high kneeling, and cross-legged sitting can be achieved.
The Ice and Lightning attribute "Element Cores" on the chest are represented with clear parts. The Wizard can be completed by attaching the robe, staff, and other parts to the universal 3mm ports on various sections. Notably, the shoulder armor is not directly attached to the main body but is connected to an articulated shaft on the back, thereby reducing interference with shoulder movement and expanding the range of articulation.
In addition to distinguishing the factions by different molding colors for the parts, the head sculpts of the bodies and the shoulder designs of the robes also differ. Consistent with the style of previous professions, the Liber Wizard features a robot-like head and shoulders composed of curves, while the Rozan Wizard boasts a skull-like head and shoulders formed by spikes.
