SANRIO, a company with numerous adorable IPs under its belt, has unveiled a new product featuring its super popular star, Pochacco – the "Pochacco Changing Outfit Mascot" blind box. The suggested retail price is 990 JPY per box, with sales expected to begin on March 3, 2025!
Debuting in 1989, Pochacco (ポチャッコ) is a puppy boy who lives in Uguisu Yokocho, on the outskirts of Fluffy Town. His birthday is the rather rare February 29th, and he is full of curiosity and a bit of a busybody. In the 2023 and 2024 SANRIO Character Ranking, Pochacco secured fourth and second place respectively, demonstrating phenomenal popularity among the fiercely competitive SANRIO stars!
This "Pochacco Changing Outfit Mascot" blind box features approximately 5 cm character figures of Pochacco in the midst of changing clothes, with a total of eight styles! A closer look reveals that the eight different poses depict Pochacco's attempts to put on a red outfit: getting tangled up, accidentally trying on clothes that are too big, overcoming various difficulties, and finally, with the help of his good friends Pllchans (ピーちゃんズ), successfully putting on a well-fitting outfit. His expressions of struggle and helplessness are truly adorable!
