GOOD SMILE COMPANY's MECHA SMILE brand, specializing in mechanical themes, has officially announced today that the latest product in their 'THE GATTAI' series of completed combining toys, 'Dairyuuga,' from 'Super Beast Machine God Dancouga,' is scheduled for release in January 2026.
Ultimate Dancouga was originally an in-game original form introduced in the 2021 game 'Super Robot Wars 30.' It features additional armor to protect Dancouga's exposed cockpits, along with large wings and thrusters, significantly enhancing its attack, defense, combination time, and cruising range, while also reducing the burden on the pilots. However, detailed settings on how it transforms into 'Ultimate Dancouga' were not revealed at the time.
It wasn't until its commercialization as a 'THE GATTAI' product that the full scope of the crucial machine, 'Dairyuuga,' was officially unveiled. This machine is the fifth new Beast Machine created by mechanical designer Masami Obari. Similar to other Beast Machines, it can transform from a fighter-like 'Normal Mode' into a dragon-like 'Attack Mode' and a 'Humanoid Mode.' By disassembling its entire body into parts, it can further combine with Dancouga to form 'Ultimate Dancouga.'
'THE GATTAI Dairyuuga' boasts a cool design, high-density details, and excellent articulation. It also features a transformation mechanism to recreate its three forms: 'Normal Mode,' 'Attack Mode,' and 'Humanoid Mode.' The overall size is substantial, standing approximately 26 cm tall in Humanoid Mode, and extending to an impressive 59 cm in Attack Mode. It comes with its dedicated weapon, the 'Blaster Rifle,' which can be utilized in all its forms.
By disassembling Dairyuuga into its various components, it can combine seamlessly, with no leftover parts, with the separately sold 'THE GATTAI HAGANE WORKS Dancouga' to form the strongest configuration, 'Ultimate Dancouga.' In this form, the overall dimensions reach an imposing 33 cm in height and 36 cm in width, presenting an incredibly powerful appearance and presence. It also includes the dedicated weapon 'Dancouken' and a mask part for use with the Dancouken, allowing for dynamic poses unleashing powerful special moves.
