Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company's Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS's action figure brand S.H.Figuarts, following the previous "Momo Ayase" and "Okarun (Transformed State)", has once again unveiled a new product based on the popular anime and manga "Dandadan" — the "Seiko" action figure. The suggested retail price is 9,900 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in July 2025!
Momo's grandmother, Ayase Seiko, known as "Dodoria Santa," is a powerful medium. From a young age, she taught Momo many ways to protect herself from yokai, but this indirectly caused Momo to distance herself from her. It wasn't until the High-Speed Grandma incident that Momo truly understood her grandmother's intentions. Seiko's appearance, which belies her actual age, and her strong yet reassuring personality have also made her one of the most popular characters in the series!
This S.H.Figuarts Seiko stands approximately 14.5 cm tall and features her first appearance design from episode 3 of the anime, when she confronted the rampaging Okarun. The figure meticulously recreates her flamboyant earrings and iconic spiky hairstyle, as well as her ample bust and slender, long legs. Articulated joints are integrated into her baseball jacket and knitted sweater, and from the photos, it's clear that the shoulder area utilizes a butterfly joint design, offering excellent poseability!
Accessories include four sets of interchangeable hands, three interchangeable face parts, a cigarette made from injection-molded plastic, and her iconic weapon baseball bat, emblazoned with the words "Power of the Loch Ness Monster." These can be freely combined to recreate her cool dynamic poses from her first battle against High-Speed Grandma!
