TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., has unveiled a new product in its character figure series "Figuarts ZERO" – the "Tanjiro Kamado Rengoku Tsuba ver." pre-painted figure, based on the popular anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba." It has a suggested retail price of 9,900 JPY and is scheduled for release in August 2025!
"Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" is a manga series by Koyoharu Gotouge, serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from 2016 to 2020. In April 2019, it was adapted into a TV anime by ufotable, becoming a phenomenal hit during the 2020 pandemic. Last year, the official announcement was made that the concluding arc, "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie - Infinity Castle Arc," will be released as a three-part theatrical film series starting this year!
This Figuarts ZERO Tanjiro Kamado Rengoku Tsuba ver. stands approximately 19.5 cm tall. It appears to capture him during his final battle with Akaza, as he awakens his Demon Slayer Mark and comprehends the Transparent World. The figure depicts a powerful dynamic pose of him leaping to strike, meticulously sculpted to recreate his flowing hair and earrings, as well as the intricate wrinkles on his green and black checkered haori and Demon Slayer Corps uniform! The Nichirin Blade in his hand features the tsuba (handguard) inherited from his elder brother. His forehead bears the changing Demon Slayer Mark, and his vacant gaze appears incredibly calm. Coupled with the powerful flame effects extending from his breath to the tip of his blade and surrounding area, the figure perfectly recreates his cool appearance after gaining new insights from battle!
