The popular action figure series "S.H.Figuarts" from Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd.'s collector's toy division, TAMASHII NATIONS, following the release of "Kid Piccolo -DAIMA-", has once again announced its latest product from the newest anime "Dragon Ball: DAIMA": the "S.H.Figuarts Piccolo -DAIMA-" action figure! The suggested retail price is 8,800 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in August 2025!
The new anime "Dragon Ball: DAIMA", released to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Dragon Ball series, features a plot and character designs personally conceived by Akira Toriyama during his lifetime, and is scheduled to air in October 2024. The story tells of how, due to the machinations of "Daima", all Earthlings have inexplicably shrunk! Goku and his companions, now in child-like forms, embark on a cute yet dangerous adventure into an unknown universe to resolve the incident, once again unraveling the mysteries of the Dragon Ball world.
The "S.H.Figuarts Piccolo -DAIMA-" action figure, approximately 16 cm tall, features a completely new sculpt to present Piccolo as he appears in the series. It incorporates the articulation structure design cultivated over many years in the series, using soft material parts for areas such as the crotch and chest clothing, allowing for more dynamic posing of various hand gestures and kicks! Furthermore, the cape is made of fabric with an internal wire, enabling it to naturally flow with movements; it comes with three interchangeable face parts with a turban, as well as a gritting teeth face and a shouting face without the turban, along with a rich array of accessories. Paired with interchangeable hand parts, you can enjoy a variety of poses such as the Makankosappo (Special Beam Cannon) and crossed arms!
