Danish toy company LEGO recently announced product information for several new releases. This article will introduce the Ideas series set number 40786, the "Micro Command Center"! Overseas, this set is available for LEGO Insiders program members to redeem with 2000 points. Its release information in Taiwan has not yet been announced.
The original design for this set comes from LEGO fan Fred (Flying UFO)'s winning entry in the LEGO IDEAS building contest "Exploring The Cosmos": BASE: Micro Rail Command Center. In Fred's original design, there was a very important and eye-catching track element; while the official product retains the concept of a track, the presentation has changed from larger track pieces to a track built from basic bricks, significantly reducing its scale. Although the footprint appears much smaller visually, this might actually make it easier for people to display properly.
Once assembled, the "40786 Micro Command Center" measures approximately 16 cm long. The overall design features the classic blue color scheme from the LEGO Space series, building a command center equipped with radar and a control tower. A space baby minifigure can even sit inside the track vehicle, which is super cute.
