Japan's Megahouse toy company, under its "G.E.M." series which brings to life numerous anime and manga characters, is releasing a new product from its "Palm-sized (Tenohira)" sub-series based on the popular anime "SAKAMOTO DAYS" – the "Sakamoto-san" pre-painted figure. The suggested retail price is 8,250 JPY, and it is expected to be released in late July 2025!
"SAKAMOTO DAYS" is a work by manga artist Yuto Suzuki, serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" since 2020. In January 2025, it was adapted into a TV anime by TMS Entertainment. It tells the story of Taro Sakamoto, once the strongest assassin, who, after retiring, getting married, having children, and becoming an overweight middle-aged man, is targeted for liquidation by his former assassin organization. He then teams up with his junior, Shin, who came to persuade him, to fight back against the organization.
This "Palm-sized Sakamoto-san" pre-painted figure, standing approximately 9 cm tall, can be perfectly held in the hands of collectors. It features Sakamoto in his professional assassin appearance before his retirement and weight gain, depicting him in a powerful seated pose holding a pistol. The sculpting faithfully recreates the wrinkles on his fitted black suit and the intricate details of the pistol. His stylish white long hair is also meticulously reproduced, and a glossy finish is applied to the leather shoes to achieve a patent leather texture. His sharp gaze and exquisite details exude the formidable presence of the strongest assassin!
