Following the release of "Sweet Frog" by T-ARTS, a toy brand under Japan's TAKARA TOMY Company, the sequel, "Sweet Frog: Just One More Bite" (Ama-Gaeru Mou Ippuku) gashapon, will be released this March! There are five types to collect, with a suggested retail price of 300 JPY per capsule.

Who would have thought that reinterpreting various desserts with frog motifs would not only maintain their delicious appearance but also make them even cuter and more mouth-watering?! "Sweet Frog: Just One More Bite" combines a rich assortment of Japanese sweets, such as "Monaka," which features red bean paste and mochi filling; the smooth and round "Japanese Sweet Bun (Manju)"; the plump, green "Zunda Ohagi" (edamame paste mochi) with its textured surface; the "Rakugan," a three-colored wagashi confection; and the "Mitarashi Dango" (soy sauce glazed dumplings), which can be displayed in two ways by removing the sauce.
For me personally, this "Sweet Frog: Just One More Bite" gashapon set is not only worth collecting entirely, but also perfectly suitable for multiple collections. Just imagine placing three skewers of Mitarashi Dango on a small plate, or a super abundance of frog Rakugan – it would look incredibly cute! And for items like the substantial Monaka, the tactile sensation of holding it in your hand should be quite satisfying. Ahh~! I'm really looking forward to this gashapon.
