Danish LEGO toy company yesterday (6th) officially announced its latest product lineup based on the sci-fi action film "Jurassic World: Rebirth." Currently, there are a total of 76970 and 76972~76976, these six sets, scheduled to be released on June 1, 2025.
"Jurassic World: Rebirth," which is expected to hit the big screen on July 2, 2025, is a sequel to 2022's "Jurassic World Dominion." The story unfolds around an island located at the equator, which was not only the research facility for the first "Jurassic Park" but also still harbors dinosaurs that were developed there and were too dangerous for the first Jurassic Park. Due to mutations, their appearance differs from the original species of dinosaurs we are familiar with.
In this wave of sets, besides 76970 and 76974, which are brick-built baby Aquilops and Mosasaurus, the other four sets are minifigure + vehicle + scene sets that include special LEGO dinosaur toys. These include Velociraptor, Titanosaurus, Quetzalcoatlus, Spinosaurus, and the most popular Tyrannosaurus Rex. You can also collect cool-looking vehicle models and LEGO minifigures of the characters from the film. The editor personally wants set 76976 the most, as it allows collecting both Spinosaurus and Quetzalcoatlus at once, and the scene with mechanisms, along with the land and air vehicles, are all quite impressive!
