Gavin O'Connor ("Warrior") returns to direct from a script by original writer Bill Dubuque. The story kicks off when the former boss of Medina (Addai-Robinson) is killed by an unknown assassin, forcing her to contact Christian Wolff (Affleck) to solve the murder. With the help of his estranged but highly capable brother, Braxton (Bernthal), Christian uses his brilliant mind and less-than-legal methods to piece together the unsolved clues. As they draw closer to the truth, the trio finds themselves targeted by a group of deadly killers determined to stop them from uncovering the conspiracy. "The Accountant 2" is scheduled to hit North American theaters on April 25.
