BANDAI SPIRITS' prize figure brand BANPRESTO has announced the latest prize figures from the 'Gundam 45th Anniversary x Hatsune Miku' collaboration project: 'Zaku Kigurumi [Hatsune Miku Ver.] Character Figure' and 'Char's Zaku Kigurumi [Hatsune Miku Ver.] Character Figure,' slated for release in September 2025 and March 2026, respectively.
The 'Gundam 45th Anniversary x Hatsune Miku' collaboration project, first announced in October 2024, finally unveiled a wealth of content today, on 'ZAKU X MIKU Day.' This year will see the release of numerous model toys and merchandise resulting from the collaboration between the Gundam IP and Hatsune Miku, along with collaborations with Bandai Namco's 'Taiko no Tatsujin' and 'Gundam EXVS. Series.' Furthermore, the official announcement today also revealed the collaborative song 'Idol Senshi / アイドル戦士 (feat. Hatsune Miku),' which remixes classic theme songs from various past 'Gundam' series and incorporates numerous Gundam references.
The collaboration project also invited multiple illustrators to participate, creating various Hatsune Miku illustrations that blend with famous mobile suits from the 'Gundam' series. Among these are adorable depictions of Hatsune Miku wearing full-body kigurumi costumes styled after the Zaku I and Char's Custom Zaku, showcasing her signature twin-tails and holding her iconic leek. This has generated significant anticipation for the three-dimensional prize figures.
