KONAMI, a Japanese company with various entertainment businesses, has announced another new Yu-Gi-Oh! themed product from the popular Equal Arts prize series – "Dark Magician" – on its official website KONAMI Prize Collection, in addition to "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon". It is scheduled to be released as a prize on March 13, 2025!
The 7-star monster card "Dark Magician" (also translated as "Black Magician": ブラック・マジシャン) has 2500 ATK / 2100 DEF and is the ace monster of the protagonist Yugi Muto in the anime "Yu-Gi-Oh!". It is the incarnation of "Mahad," one of the six priests serving the ancient Pharaoh Atem, and the most trusted monster of both Yugi and his alter ego Atem.
This Dark Magician stands approximately 20 cm tall, bringing his card illustration from "Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters" to life in 3D. The details of the Dark Magician's armor and the flowing wrinkles of his loincloth are meticulously sculpted, recreating his classic airborne pose! The green staff in his hand is rendered with a pearlescent paint finish, giving it a metallic sheen, and it also comes with a dedicated clear stand, allowing it to be displayed alongside the concurrently released Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon!
