BANDAI SPIRITS' Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS, under its action figure brand "S.H.Figuarts," has officially announced the release details for a new product from the popular anime "Naruto Shippuden"—the "Jiraiya -Leaf Village's Master of Sage Mode- Sage Mode" action figure set. The suggested retail price is 12,100 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in August 2025!
Jiraiya is one of the legendary Sannin of the Land of Fire, the teacher of the Fourth Hokage Minato Namikaze, and also Naruto's master. He is proficient in Sage Mode, Summoning Jutsu, and various other ninjutsu, enabling Naruto to quickly learn the Rasengan and Sage Mode. While he may appear somewhat carefree, he is in fact a ninja of profound wisdom and responsibility, whose influence on the village's future and peace remained significant even after his passing.
This S.H.Figuarts "Jiraiya -Leaf Village's Master of Sage Mode- Sage Mode" brings Jiraiya's classic appearance to life as an action figure. The main body stands approximately 17 cm tall, with sculpted details faithfully recreating his attire and design. His forehead protector, inscribed with the character "油" (oil), and the large scroll tied to his back with rope are meticulously reproduced. The red vest is made of a soft material to minimize impact on articulation, and his iconic white spiky long hair also features articulated joints, allowing for flexible posing as desired!
The accessories include two sets of interchangeable hands, two interchangeable facial expressions, interchangeable Sage Mode hand and foot parts, and character figures of Fukasaku and Shima. These two sages can be placed on Jiraiya's shoulders to recreate his Sage Mode appearance. Furthermore, an effect part for the Super Odama Rasengan is included, allowing for the recreation of cool attack poses! Additionally, it can be displayed alongside previously released "Orochimaru," "Tsunade," or "Uzumaki Naruto." Just looking at the product images makes me want to cry!
