Warhammer 40,000: All-New Aeldari Relaunch

The renowned tabletop wargame "Warhammer 40,000," from UK-based manufacturer Games Workshop, is releasing a brand-new line of models. This time, the revamped faction is the Aeldari, featuring all-new miniatures and tabletop wargaming rules. The range is available now, with the Combat Patrol set for official release in late March.

"Warhammer 40,000" is a grand-scale tabletop wargame where players can collect, assemble, and paint their own models, organizing them into armies to battle against other players.

The Aeldari are a dying race, their history steeped in sorrow and loss. Once, the Aeldari were the rulers of the entire galaxy. Their long and winding histories often speak of a past so ancient it predates even those powerful and prosperous ages. However, the Aeldari living in the galaxy today are but the remnants of a once-glorious empire, and the Phoenix Lords and Aspect Warriors strive in an age of endless war to protect the remaining artifacts of their shattered civilization.

New Phoenix Lords and Aspect Warriors Revealed

【Aeldari: Asurmen】

Asurmen's way of war is breathtaking; the mere presence of his heroic figure on the battlefield imparts tactical wisdom to nearby Aspect Warriors. In addition to the twin shuriken catapults mounted on his arms, this Phoenix Lord wields the Sword of Asur, whose pommel is fitted with the spirit stone of his brother, Teth-ys.

【Aeldari: Baharroth】

Baharroth moves with the grace of a gentle breeze and strikes like a hurricane. He flashes across the battlefield in a brilliant blaze of light, leaping into enemy ranks, and after completing his attack, takes to the skies once more to seek his next opponent. In close combat, Baharroth engages his foes with the resplendent Shining Blade, a magnificent sword capable of decapitating with every strike.

【Aeldari: Swooping Hawks】

Swooping Hawks circle gracefully high above the battlefield, their astonishing speed making them appear as colorful phantoms to the naked eye. They are masters of disruption, and their equipped lasblasters and plasma grenades are perfectly suited for breaking up enemy counter-attacks or striking at the weak points of an enemy formation.

【Aeldari: Rangers】

Rangers attack like predators lurking in the warp, spilling blood amongst the enemy. With each hissing shot, she tears foes to shreds in a spray of gore. Using a Death Spinner and Powerblades, she will shred any victim that gets too close before disappearing into the webway once more.

【Aeldari: Warp Spiders】

Warp Spiders can strike without warning from unknown locations. They fight using warp jump generators, mysterious dimensional devices that allow them to make short, dangerous jumps through the warp. When the Warp Spiders return to realspace, they unleash a hail of razor-sharp monofilament wire, shredding fleeing enemies in their terror.

【Aeldari: Fuegan】

Fuegan is dedicated to the complete annihilation of the enemies of the Asuryani, and the path of his destruction is littered with corpses. Foes caught in his fiery gaze are incinerated by his Firepike, "Searing Song," or cleaved in two by his Fire Axe.

【Aeldari: Fire Dragons】

Fire Dragons are aggressive and warlike, seeking the total destruction of enemy fortifications and war machines. With a single glance, they can identify the weak points of a target before incinerating it with their fusion guns.

【Aeldari: Wave Serpent】

The Wave Serpent is the primary transport vehicle of the Craftworlds, capable of delivering troops to any point on the battlefield at incredible speeds. The various heavy weapons mounted on the Wave Serpent provide powerful fire support, while its passengers are protected by a potent energy field. This kit can also be assembled as a Falcon Grav Tank.

【Aeldari: War Walker】

These elegant, bipedal war machines often serve as the vanguard for Asuryani armies. They are extremely agile and well-armed, carrying two heavy weapons capable of eliminating the enemy before they can retaliate. Each War Walker is equipped with a powerful power field, whose shimmering energy obscures the pilot's form and protects them from harm.

【Aeldari: Avatar of Khaine】

The Avatar of Khaine is the reincarnation of an ancient god of war, and its very presence inspires a furious bloodlust in nearby Asuryani warriors. On the battlefield, the Avatar of Khaine advances relentlessly into the teeth of enemy fire, its laughter as cruel and merciless as the weapon it wields: The Wailing Doom. Every strike tears flesh and spills blood.

【Aeldari: Wraithknight】

Few things can stand against a Wraithknight. Their heavy wraithcannons can hurl enemies directly into the hellish realms of the warp, while the equally powerful suncannon fires blasts of plasma that can vaporize entire squads in an instant. Meanwhile, those Wraithknights armed with a ghostglaive and scattershield are perfectly suited for dueling the enemy's giant war machines.
