Produced by Japan's PLEX Corporation and distributed by X-PLUS Corporation, the "GIGANTIC SERIES" soft vinyl model line, known for its intricate details and massive size, has announced its latest product from the movie "Godzilla: King of the Monsters," the "Burning Godzilla (2019) Clear Ver.", slated for release in June 2025.
In "Godzilla: King of the Monsters," the injured Mothra sacrificed herself to block King Ghidorah's gravity beams, her fading body transforming into countless light particles that infused Godzilla, temporarily unleashing his "Burning" form. This version of Burning Godzilla has skin that appears to burn like lava, and the heat surrounding his body is enough to completely melt cities. There was even a scene where King Ghidorah's gravity beams were seemingly absorbed by Godzilla. His classic move, "Nuclear Pulse," is released in a pulsating form accompanied by Mothra's voice and image, with power so immense that King Ghidorah couldn't regenerate in time, his heads directly incinerated into ash.
The "GIGANTIC SERIES Burning Godzilla (2019) Clear Ver." is a modified version based on the regular edition released in 2020. It boasts an impressive length of approximately 1 meter, with all body parts now made from clear molded plastic. Not only is the outer layer painted with black and orange-red to depict Godzilla's lava-like high-temperature surface, but the inner side of the parts is also coated with a layer of silver paint, using light reflection to express the fiery energy overflowing from within.
