The plot synopsis reveals Sonny Hayes as a once-promising talent in Formula One racing during the nineties, until a devastating track accident nearly ended his career. Three decades later, Sonny is a nomadic mercenary driver when his former teammate, Ruben Cervantes, seeks him out, hoping to persuade him to return to an F1 team and help boost its standing. Sonny is paired with the rising star, Joshua Pearce, but Joshua has his own way of doing things, often clashing with Sonny and distrusting his approach.
