Japan's Bandai SPIRITS company's popular "Ichiban Kuji" (一番くじ) series, where every draw wins a prize, will launch new merchandise themed after the phenomenal hit anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba." Currently tentatively named "Ichiban Kuji Demon Slayer," the suggested retail price is 790 JPY per draw, and it is scheduled to launch on July 18, 2025!
"Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" is a manga series by Koyoharu Gotouge serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from 2016 to 2020. In April 2019, it was adapted into a TV anime by ufotable and broadcast, becoming a phenomenal hit during the 2020 pandemic. The official announcement last year also revealed that the final arc, "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie - Mugen Castle Arc," will be released as three theatrical films starting this year!
This Ichiban Kuji Demon Slayer has pre-revealed the high-quality MASTERLISE character figures for Prizes A and B, featuring Tanjiro Kamado and Giyu Tomioka, respectively. The figures capture their powerful stances as they draw their swords, ready for battle. The sculpting faithfully recreates the wrinkles of their Demon Slayer Corps uniforms, the green and black checkered pattern, and the haori with its split design, conveying a strong sense of dynamism. Partial airbrushing deepens the shadows to enhance light and shadow contrast, exquisitely portraying their resolute image as they bravely face formidable foes!
