Following the releases of Asuka and Rei Ayanami, Japanese brand GOODSMILE COMPANY's "Nendoroid Doll" series, which features low-head-to-body ratio figures with fabric clothing, is once again launching a new product from the "Rebuild of Evangelion" series – "Shinji Ikari." The suggested retail price is 9,000 JPY, with an anticipated release in November 2025!
The Nendoroid Doll (ねんどろいどどーる) series combines the heads of the Nendoroid series with a body proportion designed for easy dressing in fabric outfits. Its physique is more slender than a standard Nendoroid, offering high poseability and extensive costume freedom, allowing collectors to enjoy even greater freedom in posing and playing with their favorite characters!
This Nendoroid Doll Shinji Ikari stands approximately 14 cm tall. Using fabric clothing tailored to a three-head-tall proportion, it faithfully recreates Shinji's classic uniform. The blue undershirt, belt buckle, and other details are meticulously reproduced. The off-white shoes also feature magnets on the soles for more stable display. It can be displayed alongside the previously released Asuka, Rei Ayanami, and the simultaneously launching Kaworu Nagisa!
