Japan's GOODSMILECOMPANY, building upon its Nendoroid series which has released over a thousand characters, is launching a new blind box series "Nendoroid Surprise" (ねんどろいどさぷらいず). The latest product features the popular anime "My Hero Academia" theme – the "Heroes vs. Villains Arc" blind box figures. The suggested retail price per box is 1,800 JPY, with an estimated release in November 2025!
The story of "My Hero Academia" is set in an era where everyone possesses superpowers called "Quirks," and the extraordinary has become commonplace. The Quirkless hero-fan protagonist, Izuku Midoriya, unexpectedly gains the recognition of the No. 1 hero, All Might, inheriting his Quirk "One For All." He then enrolls in U.A. High, the top hero academy. As the story progresses, Midoriya gradually comes to understand the unique nature of the One For All ability, as well as its symbolic meaning and responsibility.
This "Nendoroid Surprise My Hero Academia: Heroes vs. Villains Arc" blind box set features several popular characters from the series, depicted in their appearances from the final arc, as character figures approximately 7 cm tall. With an adorable two-head-tall proportion, the figures faithfully recreate the characters' design details and dynamic poses. The collection includes six types: Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, Shoto Todoroki, Tomura Shigaraki, Dabi, and Himiko Toga! Each figure comes with a dedicated A-type clear stand and one random themed accessory, offering a total of 18 types including My Hero Academia logos and manga sound effects, which can be combined with the characters to enrich your display!
