Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya (KOTOBUKIYA) has announced a new pre-painted complete figure product, "Magatsuki," based on its "Frame Arms Girl" model kit series, slated for release in October 2025.
The prototype for Frame Arms Girl Magatsuki originates from the "Frame Arms" series, specifically the base defense Frame Arms "NSG-Z0 Magatsuki" used by the lunar faction. This unit was designed by illustrator ToMo, characterized by its samurai armor-like additional armor, and equipped with the "TENKAI" odachi and "SATUGA" wakizashi armaments. After being bishojo-fied by illustrator Eiji Komatsu, it inherits this additional armor and the odachi and wakizashi armaments. The base body is designed as a Japanese-style bishojo with long, straight black hair, and its attire incorporates elements of Japanese Shinto (mythology).
Following the previously announced "Totsuka I," Kotobukiya once again releases another Frame Arms Girl designed by Eiji Komatsu, "Magatsuki," as a complete figure, bringing to life her battle-damaged pose as she is about to be disarmed.
Magatsuki, kneeling on the ground and leaning on her sword, stands nearly 16 cm tall. Her delicate sculpting captures the flowing strands of her long black hair and the damaged details of her long socks, among other areas. It also achieves a complete joint articulation that was not possible with the model kit version. Notably, the curves and voluptuousness of her hips have been further enhanced, showcasing the character's full charm even more effectively than the model kit version.
Similar to the previous "Totsuka I," this Magatsuki also features some removable elements. The front skirt armor parts are magnetically attached, allowing for easy removal and reattachment to reveal the complete underwear design. Furthermore, customers who order this product through official designated channels such as KOTOBUKIYA SHOP will receive an exclusive bonus "Angry Blushing Face" interchangeable expression part.
