BANDAI Co., Ltd. of Japan recently announced a new addition to its Ultraman-themed prop replica series "ULTRA REPLICA (ウルトラレプリカ) ": the "Beliarok" (ベリアロク), from "Ultraman Z" (ウルトラマンZ)! It is scheduled for release in September 2025, with a suggested retail price of 16,500 JPY (tax included).
First appearing in "Ultraman Z," the special weapon "Beliarok" is a phantom demonic sword that possesses the head of Ultraman Belial, has its own consciousness, and can speak. Although it speaks with the same arrogant tone as Belial, this demonic sword exists independently of Ultraman Belial and therefore has no intention of conquering the universe. However, Beliarok is very particular about both its wielder and its enemies, and can even be described as tsundere capricious, possessing abilities such as spatial-temporal transfer and self-repair.
The protagonist of this series, "Ultraman Z," can utilize Beliarok to unleash the powerful finishing move "Deathcium Slash" (デスシウムスラッシュ) after entering his "Delta Rise Claw Form."
Ultraman fans may recall the "Ultraman Sound Transformation Beliarok" that we previously introduced, or the DX version released by Bandai in 2020. This ULTRA REPLICA version offers an even higher-quality collectible experience for adult collectors! Compared to the earlier DX version, it boasts a 150% increase in size, reaching 51 cm, and the blade features a heavy, metallic purple paint finish, making the overall appearance sharper and more deadly!
▼ It also comes with a dedicated stand for upright display!
In addition to its intricate sculpting that closely matches the in-show prop, this Beliarok naturally features a wealth of interactive sound effects and a movable mouth! Pressing a button activates over 70 voice lines, along with four theme songs and BGM tracks. Beyond the classic "Deathcium Slash" finishing move sound effect, it also includes, for the first time, the transformation sound effect and "Deathcium Death Burst" sound effect from "Ultraman Galaxy Fight: The Absolute Conspiracy"! With the mouth moving in sync with the dialogue, playing with it is sure to be an amazing experience!
