BANPRESTO, a prize figure brand under Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company, known for its "Relax time" series which focuses on conveying the natural charm of characters, will release a new figure themed after "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" in August 2025: the "-Relax time- Frieren" figure! That super expensive potion is here!
In Episode 12, "A True Hero," of the "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" anime, Frieren casually mentioned to Fern, "Today is Stark's eighteenth birthday." Unlike Fern, who was caught off guard and had prepared nothing, our millennia-old mage was naturally calm and well-prepared. After saying, "It's a very special gift," and rummaging through her suitcase, ta-da! Frieren pulled out a "potion that only melts clothes" and proudly declared, "Any man would be delighted to receive something like this." However, the potion was immediately snatched away by the unamused Fern and poured over Frieren's head, wasting most of it.
This Relax time series figure of Frieren captures her in a kneeling pose, holding the potion with both hands, with a sly smile on her face, as if she's "a woman who really understands men." Her outfit faithfully reproduces the white strapless camisole dress she wears in her room, as seen in the anime. The depiction of her eyes, the shaping of her ponytail, and the intricate details of the potion bottle are all excellent. I personally believe this Frieren figure also has great potential for humorous memes; that face just looks too amazing no matter how you look at it!
