BANDAI SPIRITS' immensely popular "Ichiban Kuji" brand, where every draw wins a prize, today announced the latest product based on "Kamen Rider Kuuga," titled "Kamen Rider Kuuga Back to A New Legend," scheduled for release on August 29, 2025. The names of the various prize tiers were also revealed.
Celebrating its 25th anniversary since its broadcast in 2000, "Kamen Rider Kuuga" was the first work to usher in the Heisei Kamen Rider era. The story describes how modern researchers excavating the mysterious Kuuga Ruins in Japan accidentally awakened 200 unidentified lifeforms, the "Grongi Tribe," who were sealed by the Rinto warriors in ancient times. These brutal and warlike beings began a terrifying killing game in the modern era. The adventurer protagonist, "Yusuke Godai," assimilates with the Rinto warriors' relic, the "Arcle," gaining the ability to transform into Kamen Rider Kuuga, and fights against the Grongi to protect people's smiles.
Currently, only the names of the various prizes for "Ichiban Kuji Kamen Rider Kuuga Back to A New Legend" have been revealed. The A Prize will feature a magnificent diorama figure, "ONDIMENSION Kamen Rider Kuuga Mighty Form," which combines his signature special move "Rider Kick" with the world view of the series. Prizes B to D will be 2.5-head-tall Rider figures from the "BLISTERED MUSEUM" series, featuring Kuuga's Mighty, Rising Mighty, and Ultimate Forms, respectively.
Other prizes are also quite abundant, including various Kuuga-themed merchandise such as towels, posters, and rubber keychains. The LAST ONE Prize, which is limited to one per set, will feature the mysterious "THE GREAT NAME Kamen Rider Kuuga."
