SNK Corporation's legendary fighting game series, "Fatal Fury," announced its long-awaited new installment, "Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves," at EVO 2023 in August 2023. The game is set to launch on April 24, 2025.
Last September, international soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo teased fans on his personal X account with a promotional video featuring "Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves", sparking speculation. Today (March 27), the official bombshell dropped: Ronaldo is confirmed to appear as a playable character, complete with a brand-new reveal trailer that has left many players stunned!

This marks a rare collaboration where a real-world sports icon directly becomes a playable character in a game, moving beyond typical promotional partnerships. While a soccer star stepping into a fighting game might seem unexpected, Ronaldo's immense fame and influence are guaranteed to grab headlines. His unprecedented inclusion in this "Fatal Fury" sequel, after a 26-year hiatus, is a massive coup.
