Build A Rocket Boy, the studio helmed by former Rockstar Games lead designer Leslie Benzies (known for "Grand Theft Auto V" and "Red Dead Redemption"), recently unveiled a new trailer for its narrative action-adventure game, "MindsEye." The studio also announced the game's official launch date: June 10, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC platforms.
The game is set in Redrock City, a high-tech, near-future desert metropolis. Players will step into the shoes of protagonist Jacob Diaz, navigating this highly digitized experimental city and witnessing how technology upends social order.
The latest trailer also further revealed two key characters: corporate titan Marco Silva, a tech genius aiming to accelerate human evolution, and Redrock City Mayor Shiva Vega, who seeks to achieve greater social control by enhancing city security.
According to the development team's plans, the game's first chapter will focus on a single-player story experience, with subsequent chapters potentially expanding into multiplayer modes. Both digital and physical editions of the game are currently available for pre-order, offering various exclusive in-game rewards for early buyers.
