Tom Cruise is set to return as Ethan Hunt for the eighth time in "Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two." The film's official runtime has now been revealed at a hefty 169 minutes, making it the longest installment in the entire "Mission: Impossible" franchise to date. This runtime surpasses the previous record holders: the sixth film, "Mission: Impossible – Fallout," at 148 minutes, and the seventh film, "Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One," at 163 minutes. Cruise previously stated that this installment would tie together and conclude all storylines from the preceding seven films, a feat that clearly requires a substantial runtime.
