'Grand Theft Auto VI' Second Trailer Shatters Records, Surpassing 'Deadpool & Wolverine' to Become Biggest Video Launch Ever

Rockstar Games recently dropped a surprise second gameplay trailer for "Grand Theft Auto VI," and in just 24 hours, it amassed over 475 million views across all platforms. The staggering figure sets an unprecedented record in both the gaming and entertainment industries, with the company officially calling it "the biggest video launch of all time."

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the "GTA 6" trailer's day-one viewership has already eclipsed major MCU films like "Deadpool & Wolverine" (365 million views) and "The Fantastic Four: First Steps" (200 million views), showcasing the unparalleled global influence of the "Grand Theft Auto" franchise.

For comparison, the first "GTA 6" trailer hit 93 million views on YouTube on its first day, though its total traffic was impacted by an earlier leak. That initial trailer has since surpassed 255 million views.

The second trailer has also ignited a massive music revival, with its featured 80s classic, "Hot Together," seeing a staggering 182,000% surge in streams on Spotify.
