Starting May 14, all KKDJ stores across Japan (excluding some locations) will be rolling out a limited-edition "PAC-MAN × Krispy Kreme" donut collection, featuring three eye-catching new designs and flavors.
This sweet collaboration is a special tribute to PAC-MAN's 45th anniversary. The three new donuts are the "PAC-MAN Custard Sprinkled Donut," "Ghost Chocolate," and "Power Strawberry." Not only do their designs perfectly capture the game's classic characters, but their flavors are also meticulously crafted for an extra special treat!
The "PAC-MAN Custard Sprinkled Donut" takes a classic donut, tops it with rich custard cream, and then sprinkles it with colorful candies representing the ghosts. To complete the look, an adorable PAC-MAN-shaped cookie is placed on top, making it look just like PAC-MAN chasing ghosts in the game – talk about immersive!
Next up, the "Ghost Chocolate" donut is filled with decadent chocolate cream and coated in a bittersweet chocolate glaze. It's then decorated with blue and yellow icing to mimic the maze lines, and finished with a ghost-shaped cookie, making it appear as if it's flown straight out of the arcade screen!
Finally, the "Power Strawberry" donut draws inspiration from the bonus fruits in the game. For an even deeper dive into the PAC-MAN universe, the Shibuya Cine Tower store has been transformed into a special PAC-MAN-themed location. And mark your calendars: on May 14, 21, and 22, PAC-MAN himself will be making special appearances as a one-day store manager, greeting and interacting with fans!
