Introducing with Great Fanfare: Toy People's First Ever Collectible Poster “ TOY PEOPLE ATTACK! “
Approximately a decade ago, at the inception of Toy People, one of the proposals for the first collaborative artwork was to create a piece that could bring to life the fantastical worlds within each collector's imagination.
"Every Toy People is the master of their own collection universe, and through toys, they can recreate a spectacularly diverse multiverse in their minds."
While this theme may seem straightforward, executing it flawlessly posed a tremendous challenge. It wasn't until we encountered the work of the master of pop art illustrator Joe Simko, renowned for his imaginative and freely expressive style, that we found the perfect candidate to embody this piece. Hence, upon our sincere invitation, he readily accepted the challenge.
Through Joe's wildly uninhibited painting style, the artwork presents an imaginative composition. The colossal Toy People depicted seems to burst through dimensions, opening a treasure trove of collectibles, stirring up a vibrant world of toys. Various toys flee in panic, hinting at elements paying homage to classic toys.
The artwork's vibrant and delicately balanced colors exemplify the master's unique artistic approach. By blending retro sci-fi aesthetics with an array of fantastical characters, the wondrous fantasy world comes to life before every collectors's eyes.
To capture the powerful visual tension depicted in the artwork, this piece is produced in close to A1 size, boasting an imposing presence that cannot be ignored. Fluorescent pigments are deliberately incorporated to enhance the brilliance of the master's vibrant colors.
Each poster bears Joe Simko's unique autograph and a limited edition number, making it an indispensable collectible for every collector's secret hideaway.
