"Jurassic World: Rebirth" launched in theaters worldwide last Wednesday, delivering a powerful box office performance as anticipated. The film raked in a total of $318 million globally in its opening week, marking the highest worldwide debut of the year to date. Domestically, across the five-day Independence Day weekend, it earned $147 million, while international markets contributed $171 million, making it the second-highest overseas opening of the year.
The global opening for "Rebirth" also stands as the second-highest in the entire "Jurassic" franchise, trailing only the fourth installment, "Jurassic World," which debuted with $520 million.

The cumulative box office success of "Rebirth" has propelled its leading actress, Scarlett Johansson, to the top spot as the highest-grossing actor in film history. Films starring or co-starring Johansson have amassed a staggering $14.8 billion in total box office revenue, with $8.7 billion stemming from her roles in Marvel films. This achievement surpasses her Marvel Cinematic Universe colleague, Samuel L. Jackson, known for his role as Nick Fury, who previously held the record with $14.6 billion.
