Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd.'s GASHAPON capsule toy brand has partnered with the handmade candle brand "OLGA GOOSE CANDLE" to launch the cute and colorful collaboration product "OLGA GOOSE CANDLE Miniature Candle Model Collection" Gashapon! The suggested retail price is 400 JPY per capsule, with a total of 5 styles, scheduled for release in July 2025.
Japanese handmade candle brand OLGA Goose Candle, founded by artist Risa Hiratsuka, centers its brand creation around the movie prop "OLGA-goosecandle-," an Egyptian queen with a human face and goose body from the film "Freaks." In its lore, all of its candle creations are made by this Egyptian queen after she embarked on a path of madness—featuring original designs and entirely handmade, each candle contains a magical message, inspiring inner intangible mystical powers with a ritualistic prop style full of fantastical stories.
The "OLGA GOOSE CANDLE Miniature Candle Model Collection" Gashapon recreates five popular items in Gashapon's small size, including "THIEF CATS," "BUTTERFLY," "RED CHILI," "PINK UNICORN," and "RED PUPPY." They exquisitely reproduce the fun and cute designs, and although they cannot be lit, they still faithfully replicate the wick on top of the candle. The vibrant colors instantly liven up any display! Their slightly smaller size compared to the original candles makes them even cuter when displayed together.
In the Gashapon Online limited edition, there are also two alternate color versions of the Unicorn and Red Chili available for collection!
