Bandai's GASHAPON brand, known for its popular capsule toy series "ULTIMATE LUMINOUS" which emphasizes ultimate sculpting and ultimate luminescence, has announced the latest product from the movie "Ultraman THE NEXT": "ULTIMATE LUMINOUS Ultraman THE NEXT", scheduled for release in October 2025.
The prequel film to "Ultraman Nexus", "Ultraman THE NEXT," tells the story of the legendary giant "Ultraman Noa," who, after exhausting his power in the decisive battle against Dark Zagi, transformed into his initial form "THE NEXT." He pursued the Space Beast "THE ONE" to Earth, where he merged with Shunichi Maki, a fighter pilot for the Japan Air Self-Defense Force. As Maki's resolve to protect his family grew, THE NEXT gradually regained some of his power.
The "ULTIMATE LUMINOUS Ultraman THE NEXT" product includes two non-articulated figures: Ultraman THE NEXT's "Anphans" (Childhood Form) and "Junis" (Youth Form). At a height of approximately 13 cm, the figures meticulously capture the Anphans form's highly organic, silvery-white body and the Junis form's red body resembling muscle fibers. Both heads feature built-in LED light-up components, allowing their eyes to glow when activated.
