Japanese brand GOOD SMILE COMPANY's affordable painted PVC figure series, POP UP PARADE, has unveiled a new Hatsune Miku-themed product: the "Hatsune Miku Sour-style Chinese New Year Ver." non-scale painted figure. It has a suggested retail price of 6,500 JPY and is scheduled for release in December 2025!
"Sour-style" Hatsune Miku refers to the popular MikuMikuDance (MMD) model style created by Sourxuan (Sour 暄), characterized by soft lines, delicate facial expressions, and beautiful proportions. The earliest version was released on August 31, 2017, and later updated to Ver.1.02 on July 15, 2020, allowing enthusiasts to download it from the Bowlroll platform for non-commercial, non-erotic, non-political, non-religious, and other similar uses.
This "Hatsune Miku Sour-style Chinese New Year Ver." non-scale painted figure stands approximately 17 cm tall. It features Hatsune Miku in a Chinese New Year outfit full of festive spirit, faithfully recreating Sour-style Miku's delicate facial features and the lines of her long, outward-curling twin-tails. She is depicted with a traditional "baoquan" (fist-and-palm) greeting gesture. The Chinese-style costume is exquisitely rendered, with printed golden patterns and the character "春" (spring) on the skirt hem. The Chinese knot extending from the hem is a particularly striking detail, showcasing the charm of Sour-style Miku with a unique Chinese flair!
