The plastic model kit series "MODEROID", launched by Japan's MECHA SMILE brand, has announced its latest product, "BRADYON", from the anime "BUDDY COMPLEX", scheduled for release in February 2026.
The "XV-7002 BRADYON", piloted by the protagonist Hiyō Dio Weinberg, is a prototype Valiancer secretly developed by the Free Treaty Alliance military, standing approximately 18 meters tall. It is equipped with an assault rifle, NECTOR Sword, shield, and other armaments, possessing excellent combat capabilities even as a standalone unit. However, when deployed alongside its brother unit, the "XV-7001 LUXON", and activating the "Coupling System", energy wings form on its back to enhance mobility. It can even combine with LUXON's energy wings to activate the "Code T2 Rise" defensive function, which defends against frontal attacks, thereby unleashing the unit's true performance.
The "MODEROID BRADYON" kit is composed of multi-colored molded parts, some pre-painted parts, and decals. Once assembled, it forms a highly poseable model approximately 138mm tall. Its overall design faithfully recreates the sleek and cool aesthetics from the anime, featuring flexible articulated joints, an assault rifle, NECTOR Sword, shield, and other weapon accessories, allowing for dynamic combat poses.
Furthermore, by swapping parts, you can recreate BRADYON's appearance after activating the "Coupling System" with its brother unit LUXON, featuring a clear part for the head visor and the "Aeroscale" energy wings on its back in Coupling Mode. It can also link with the separately sold "MODEROID LUXON", using the included joint parts to recreate the iconic back-to-back "Code T2 Rise" scene where both units deploy their defenses.
