Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS, under its S.H.MonsterArts action figure brand, which combines exquisite monster sculpting with outstanding articulation technology, has unveiled a new product based on the movie "Godzilla vs. Destoroyah"—the "Destoroyah (Perfect Form) Tokyo Waterfront City Final Battle Ver." action figure. The suggested retail price is 24,200 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in December 2025!
In "Godzilla vs. Destoroyah," released in 1995, Godzilla faces a meltdown crisis as the nuclear energy within his body is about to go out of control, posing an unprecedented threat to Earth. Simultaneously, a mutated creature named "Destoroyah" emerges from the sea, continuously evolving and transforming, bringing devastating disaster to Japan. Faced with the dual threat from these two colossal monsters, the Japan Self-Defense Forces are forced to devise new countermeasures to eliminate them.
This S.H.MonsterArts Destoroyah (Perfect Form) stands approximately 18.5 cm tall and features the perfect form seen in the movie's final battle against Godzilla Junior and Godzilla in Tokyo Waterfront City. Sculpted by Shinichi Wakasa, it faithfully recreates the rough texture of its skin and the sharp claws on its hands and feet. Its ferocious face exudes a powerful sense of intimidation, and its flexible articulation allows for various dynamic poses! The paint application adjusts the overall color scheme to evoke the image of the nighttime battle in the film, making it more vibrant than the previous regular and special color versions. Accessories include an electric shock effect part for the head and an Oxygen Destroyer effect part, which can be displayed together with the previously released "Burning Godzilla (1995) 70th Anniversary Special Color Ver." to recreate the climactic battle scenes from the movie!
