ADK Emotions (ADK エモーションズ), the anime distributor under Japanese advertising company ADK Group, following "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames", has officially unveiled the second product in the Sacred Beasts series from "Yu-Gi-Oh! GX" – the "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder" (降雷皇ハモン) pre-painted complete figure. It has a suggested retail price of 37,400 JPY and is scheduled for release in April 2026!
Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder, corresponds to The Winged Dragon of Ra among the Three Egyptian God Cards, but it is the only Sacred Beast whose design does not directly correspond to an Egyptian God Card. Its name is derived from Amon, the 7th demon of the 72 demons of Solomon. It can be Special Summoned by sending three Continuous Spell Cards from your field to the Graveyard. Hamon is unaffected by Trap Cards. When a monster is destroyed by Hamon's attack and sent to the Graveyard, its controller takes 1000 points of damage. Also, if Hamon is destroyed while in Defense Position, no battle damage is taken.
For this "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder" pre-painted complete figure, Susuki Togeno (峠野ススキ) once again served as the sculptor, bringing the design from the monster card illustration to life in three dimensions. With dimensions of approximately 35 cm in height and 42 cm in width, and a sense of substantial weight, it exudes overwhelming power! The sculpting meticulously captures the intricate muscle texture of its massive wings and the heavy, armor-like feel of its skeletal structure. The painting, once again handled by Otaken (オタケン), exquisitely airbrushes the metallic sheen of its armor and the organic feel of the wing veins. Combined with its sacred-looking head sculpt and the dynamic pose of its wings and tail, the overall presence is undeniably powerful and impossible to ignore, as if thunder will roar majestically in the next second! Now that both Uria, Lord of Searing Flames, and Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder, have been officially revealed, anticipation for the third installment, "Raviel, Lord of Phantasms," is even higher!
