BANDAI SPIRITS' BANPRESTO prize division in Japan is releasing the "MAXIMATIC Frieren, Stark, Fern" as part of its substantial "MAXIMATIC" series, based on the popular anime and manga "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End." These will be sold as prize figures, with an anticipated release in January-February 2026.
The Japanese manga "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End (葬送のフリーレン)," written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe, tells the story of the elven mage Frieren, who returns as a hero after a ten-year adventure with the human hero Himmel, the dwarven warrior Eisen, and the human priest Heiter. Frieren, an immortal elf who can live for thousands of years, perceives the passage of time differently from mortals. After experiencing the deaths and aging of her companions, she begins to deeply feel the impermanence of life and regrets not having truly understood others. To experience the meaning of life and time, Frieren embarks on a new journey with Fern, Stark, and others.
The BANPRESTO "MAXIMATIC Frieren, Stark, Fern" figures recreate the trio's dynamic battle poses at approximately 20 cm in size! Each holding their preferred weapons, such as a magic staff and a long-handled axe, they can be displayed together to create a powerful scene of them facing an enemy! Frieren has a serious expression, with her characteristic twin tails swept upwards; Stark and Fern also feature flowing clothing and hair, creating a floating appearance as they prepare to launch an attack!
