Following the "CineToy TAMASHII（シネトイ魂！）" series, which creates figures based on film and television works, the S.H.Figuarts action figure brand, released by BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS of Japan, has unveiled the second product in its Marvel Gamerverse theme – the "Spider-Man (GAMERVERSE)" action figure, following the "Cyclops (GAMERVERSE)". It has a suggested retail price of 9,900 JPY and is slated for release in March 2026!
This S.H.Figuarts Spider-Man (GAMERVERSE) stands approximately 15.5 cm tall. Its design appears to be inspired by the classic 90s Marvel fighting game "Marvel Super Heroes", clearly presenting Spider-Man's original pixelated style. The sculpting showcases the character's robust musculature from the game, the web patterns on his suit are rendered with engraved lines, and the vibrant red and blue color scheme is faithfully reproduced, accurately capturing his appearance in the game!
Articulation includes butterfly joints in the shoulders, and two-part articulation in both the thighs and hips. From the currently released product images, it boasts excellent flexibility, allowing for easy recreation of classic crouching poses seen in promotional art! Accessories include four sets of interchangeable hands, one interchangeable head sculpt, Spider-Sense effect parts, webbing for swinging, and the web shield used for defense in the game. Furthermore, just like Cyclops, this release also includes a special move effect background sheet, perfect for displaying powerful scenes when unleashing special attacks!
