BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced the latest product from its popular assembly model Shokugan series "SHOKUGAN MODELING PROJECT," "Delta Formation Time Shadow," based on the Tokusatsu series "Mirai Sentai Timeranger," scheduled for release in January 2026.
"Time Shadow," which officially debuted in Episode 19, is an automatic combat-type giant robot developed in the 30th century to combat heinous criminals. Normally, it flies and fights in its Stealth Fighter mode, and in emergencies, it can transform into its giant robot mode to battle criminals. It can perform agile, ninja-like movements, and fights using two "Shadow Swords" made of special super-hard metal, wielded as dual swords or a bow and arrow. Furthermore, Time Shadow can combine with Time Robo Alpha and Time Robo Beta, respectively, to form the more powerful "Time Robo Shadow Alpha" and "Time Robo Shadow Beta."
"Delta Formation Time Shadow" inherits the transformation and combination mechanisms of the original DX toy released back then. The main unit can transform to recreate "Stealth Fighter Mode" and "Robot Mode." With its full-body articulated joints and two transparent "Shadow Swords," you can pose it in various combat stances.
Time Shadow can further transform into an enhanced exoskeleton mode, and combine with Time Robo Alpha and Time Robo Beta, respectively, to form "Time Robo Shadow Alpha" and "Time Robo Shadow Beta," recreating their more imposing silhouettes. Compared to the DX version, all forms now feature new articulated knee joints. Additionally, "Time Robo Shadow Beta's" feet have new pegs to enhance stability. Accessories include the "Pro Divider" special weapon for both enhanced forms, in both sword and gun modes.
