Tsume-Art, the top Luxembourgish statue team renowned for crafting Japanese anime character statues with exquisite craftsmanship and magnificent dioramas, is launching its new sub-brand "BIJUtsu." Focusing on "Naruto," they will release the latest series, "Crossed Destinies Collection." Following products like "Naruto Uzumaki," they are once again introducing the latest item in the series: "Jiraiya 1/4 Scale Statue," with an estimated shipping date in Q4 2026.
Jiraiya (じらいや), a consistently popular character in the "Naruto" series, is known as the "Toad Sage of Mount Myōboku" and is one of the "Legendary Sannin" of Konohagakure. He was a disciple of the Third Hokage and had numerous students, including the Fourth Hokage, Nagato, Yahiko, Konan, and the protagonist Naruto Uzumaki. He played a crucial role in connecting generations within Konohagakure. Although he often displayed a lecherous and comical side, his unwavering perseverance and spirit of sacrifice for Konoha proved him to be a great ninja!
BIJUtsu's core feature is "imbuing characters with extraordinary depth in their gaze," using transparent resin for the eyes to emphasize soulful expressions. For the "Crossed Destinies Collection" series, a subtle "cell-shading" paint effect has been added, allowing for a unique anime style to be perceived from specific angles of the statue, providing depth and vibrancy. The fifth release, the "BIJUtsu Jiraiya 1/4 Scale Statue," stands approximately 50 cm tall. It depicts the Pervy Sage beside a bathhouse, holding his famous work "Make-Out Tactics," embodying his bold yet humorous personality. However, behind this carefree exterior, one can also sense the master's composed demeanor through his resolute gaze.
The base is meticulously sculpted to recreate a bathhouse scene, enhanced with transparent resin to perfectly capture the flow of water. The circular base offers two interchangeable options: "Oil" and the Uzumaki symbol.
