BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced the latest product from its popular Shokugan series "Mobile Suit Gundam G-FRAME FA": the "Strike Freedom Gundam Expansion Parts Set" from "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY," slated for release in May 2026.
The ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam is the mobile suit piloted by protagonist Kira Yamato in "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY." Equipped with a Hyper Deuterion Engine capable of generating massive energy, it boasts a formidable arsenal of high-power beam weapons, including high-output beam rifles, "Calius" multi-phase beam cannons, and "Xiphias 3" railguns. Furthermore, its back features the "Super DRAGOON" Mobile Weapon Wing, deploying a total of 8 "Beam Assault Cannons" (4 on each side) for all-range attacks. Coupled with Kira's Super Coordinator abilities, it can simultaneously lock onto numerous enemy units.
The "G-FRAME FA Strike Freedom Gundam Expansion Parts Set" is an armament accessory designed for use with the separately sold "G-FRAME FA Strike Freedom Gundam" main unit. It includes replacement parts for the deployed "Xiphias 3" Railguns, two "Beam Sabers," two sizes of "Beam Shield" effects for wrist deployment, and the "High-Energy Beam Rifle" in its connected long-range mode. These additions allow for a wider variety of combat poses, expanding the playability beyond the main unit's original two rifles.
Furthermore, the set also includes a complete "Wings of Light" effect parts set, "Beam Assault Cannon" beam effects, 9 sets of clear articulated stands, and a display base featuring a "SEED Mode" pattern. When combined with the main unit, these parts allow for dynamic displays of all 8 "Beam Assault Cannons" firing and the Mobile Weapon Wing deploying its magnificent "Wings of Light"!
