Following the "Guyver" release, Japanese model manufacturer Max Factory's popular articulated figure series "figma" is once again taking on the theme of Guyver: The Bioboosted Armor to launch the latest "figma Guyver Gigantic"! It is priced at 21,800 JPY and is scheduled for release in October 2026.
Japanese manga artist Yoshiki Takaya's manga series, Guyver: The Bioboosted Armor (強殖装甲ガイバー), began serialization in Monthly Shonen Captain in 1985. Due to multiple interruptions, it has been serialized for over thirty years and has yet to reach its conclusion. In the story, a Guyver refers to a "host" that has merged with a Bioboosted Armor unit. The Bioboosted Armor was originally standard equipment for The Creators; however, when humans merge with it, they can unleash hundreds of times more combat power and break free from The Creators' mental control. The Guyver Gigantic is an enhanced version of the Guyver armor created by the protagonist, Sho Fukamachi, to combat the Zoalords.
The "figma Guyver Gigantic" articulated figure faithfully recreates the Guyver Gigantic, which is even more powerful than the standard Guyver. Standing approximately 22 cm tall, the figure meticulously captures the majestic armor details, characteristic textures, complex head, and prominent horns. The green orbs on the shoulders and joints utilize clear parts, allowing a glimpse of the internal Gravity Control Orb! Accessories include the "High-Frequency Swords," "Chest Particle Cannon recreation parts," and a translucent black "Gravity Ram."
