Japan's CAPCOM Co., Ltd. has announced the latest product, "Rathalos," from its figure brand "CAPCOM FIGURE BUILDER" and its "Soft Vinyl Figure" series, which is based on the popular hunting game "Monster Hunter." It is scheduled for release on September 10, 2026.

Rathalos is the most iconic monster in the "Monster Hunter" series. With a total length exceeding 17 meters, its entire body is covered in red scales, and its powerful giant wings allow it to fly swiftly at high altitudes. It not only possesses a ferocious temperament but also excellent combat capabilities. Through its internal organ, the "flame sac," it can unleash high-temperature flames that incinerate everything to ash. Its excellent flying ability and eyesight allow Rathalos to lock onto prey and continue fighting from high altitudes. In the original game, Rathalos, which dominated the entire airspace, was known as the "King of the Skies" and was a nightmare for many new hunters.

The "CFB Soft Vinyl Figure Rathalos" is crafted into a cute, low-proportioned (chibi) form with a large size of approximately 18 cm in height, depicting Rathalos standing on land, wings spread, and roaring. Although it's a chibi design, realistic details are sculpted throughout its body, meticulously reproducing the scale patterns on its body surface, the tiny teeth and tongue texture inside its mouth, sharp spines, and red carapace. Furthermore, rich paintwork expresses highly realistic biological colors and wing membrane patterns.
