Japan's official "Mobile Suit Gundam" Gunpla flagship store, GUNDAM BASE, has announced that the latest limited-edition product, "ENTRY GRADE 1/144 Build Strike Exceed Galaxy [PAINTING MODEL]," which will be sold exclusively in-store, is scheduled for release starting December 27, 2025.
Appearing in "Gundam Build Metaverse," the Build Strike Exceed Galaxy is a new model in the "Build Strike Gundam" series created by Sei Iori, based on the "ENTRY GRADE 1/144 Strike Gundam" kit. Compared to later developed units like the Star Build Strike Gundam, it more closely resembles the original silhouette of the "Strike Gundam," and its backpack can transform into a support unit. Red clear parts are installed in multiple locations, such as the shoulders, chest, and shield. This is the "EG System," an energy hyper-light circulation armor developed from the "RG System," capable of performing various forms of enhancements according to battle conditions.
The "ENTRY GRADE 1/144 Build Strike Exceed Galaxy [PAINTING MODEL]" is a modified version of the previously released regular kit. It inherits the refined parts composition and excellent color separation design of the EG Strike Gundam, featuring a small number of parts and a simplified assembly process, allowing it to be assembled without the need for tools like nippers. The head, armor, various clear parts, and original weaponry are reproduced with many new parts. The shield can be equipped with effect parts to recreate the beam blade deployed state. The kit consists only of molded parts in colors such as white, dark gray, and colorless clear, allowing modelers to freely express their creativity with paint, like a blank canvas.
